20 years! Blue Sky Clayworks celebrated this momentous occasion, in the place it all began, Atlanta, Georgia, at the GIANT Atlanta Gift Show.

For 20 years, Blue Sky Clayworks has had a showroom there number 831 – and it was a perfect place to showcase some of the brand new 2020 pieces! The Blue Sky Clayworks team and I were in full force, with information, BBQ and exciting pieces. It was an honour to meet new buyers, long time buyers, wonderful fans, and of course, friends new and old.

It was very fun to show people the new series of tealight houses. These were created as an homage to my original 2000 releases. These new pieces maintain the hanging charms, three dimensional additions and 22 karat gold trim – the Clayworks fans have always loved.

For those of you who had watched our videos from the studio, you will remember when I sculpted “Duff, the Magic Dragon” – well, it was her debut into the gift market. She was met with delighted “oohs and ahhs” especially when we lit the incense cone “horn” and scented smoke came out of the nostrils in mystical curly cues. Really magical!

We also celebrated the release of the the hand sculpted crabs, the stunning new lemon line, the Nutcracker Series and so much more.

As we all know, there is no “I” in team, and nowhere is that more relevant than at Blue Sky Clayworks. Listening and working directly with our buyers and fans has always been a key to success. The energy from the showroom was incredible – it was an amazing celebration.

Big thank yous to Ken, Ron, Chi, Charley, Chris, Bruce and Kim for making it all happen. Thank you one and all for allowing me to have the most wonderful career a girl from Vancouver Island could ever ask for!

I cannot wait for the next 20 years.
